My Love For The Happiest Place On Earth...

I love love love Disneyland. I used to not. I used to HATE rides, I seriously thought they would kill me. I began growing out of the that fear around age 9 but still couldn't make myself do loopty-loop coasters. Until one day... I was at MGM Studios in Walt Disney World, Florida. My parents basically forced me to go on this one ride telling me it was no big deal. It was called the Rockin' Roller Coaster (*best ride ever!!!*) and if you've ever been on it, you can probably guess what happened next. Let me tell you a bit about this ride. You go into a dark room where it shows a video of Aerosmith saying their limo driver left and they need you to take them to their concert blah blah blah...When you sit in the actuall train/car part of the ride (i have no idea what it is called but it looks like a limo and is pretty cool!) there is this large flashing target in front of you. It counts down from five, and tells you to put your head back because you will be taking off at 80 miles per hour. I look at my dad.

"80 MILES AN HOUR!?! THIS IS GOING TO BE SCARY, WHY DID YOU TELL ME IT WAS NO BIG DEAL!?!?!"

I really want to get off at this point. Too late. It zooms off and my thin 10 year old neck starts to hurt pretty bad. It's dark inside, like space mountain. I am freaking out, and them my stomach feels funny. My dad screams at me,
"Elise, were upside down right now!"

"WHAT!?!" I say. This is when I first think to myself, Hey, I'm not dying and this is really fun!

There were a few more loops and corkscrews and rock and roll music playing and stuff falling out of peoples pockets. After the ride, we watch a quick snipet of and Aerosmith concert. We walk out and I exclaim,

"THAT WAS THE BEST RIDE EVER!!!!! CAN I GO AGAIN!?!?!"

And that is how I came to love roller coasters. I go on them again and again.

My friends are probably very thankful for this because up until I was about 10, I would go to Amusement Parks with them but would go on hardly anything.

Thanks for making me do that, Mom and Dad!
