I don't really follow the rules my Orthodontist gives me, and I still chew gum on a regular basis.
Today, I bit a lose bracket off.
And it is just hanging on the wire, disconnected from my tooth.
It hurts like heck.

I did that by chewing on a pen cap...it totally hurts! Sorry!
