today i made a to-do list of sorts for myself. my goal is to finish all these books by the end of 2008.
I entered the library planning on getting one or two books to read for fun...
i walked out with:
- of mice and men
- uncle toms cabin
- great expectations
- flowers for algernon
- unshaken: the story of ruth
things my mother wouldn't let me check out because she has no faith in my reading skills to get hem done by february seventh but i plan on checking out soon:
- voice of the wind (mark of the lion series)
- east of eden
- tortilla flats
- grapes of wrath
- emma or sense and sensibility
books i already own and am working on:
- pride and prejucide
- 12th night
- screwtape letters
- a midsummer night's dream
- how i live now
- and if i run out of books, les miserables (for megan =])
required reading: (but am looking forward to)
- gone with the wind
it's an ambitious list....but i think i can do it =]
expect a post end of 2008.... we will see how many i actually finish =]

Oh my gosh you HAVE to finish reading how i live now!!!
It's my favorite book ever (with the exception of twilight).
And in english we read part of flowers for algernon; its good but sad.

Ok, seriously, half of the books on your list were "required reading" from my British Literature class my senior year of college! You are way too smart for your own good!!!
PS - the only books I actually enjoyed reading are the ones on Allison's "I Hate" list!!! I LOVE Jane Austen!
