Pacific vs. Atlantic

I just went down to the beach (in Boston) with my mom, and it blows my mind that people are walking around in bathing suits and having a grand old time on the beach even though it's pretty much poring rain.

On the plus side though, it's actually warmer here than it ever is at the beaches in California. I feel like all the beaches in Orange County are either really cold and windy or too hot. Here, it's just perfect, despite the rain.

And the beaches are so pretty here! I love the grass and the hills and how there are no train tracks seperating a city from the ocean, the houses just go right up to the shore(:
